The SL 2.0: ColLab project aims to strengthen cooperation between universities and civil society organizations (CSOs) by developing a collaborative digital tool that facilitates inclusive and innovative service learning projects.

The initiative focuses on creating an educational ecosystem in which teachers, students, and local communities co-create meaningful learning experiences based on the real needs of society.

The project has three main objectives:

  1. Developing a digital platform for collaboration between universities and CSOs, with project management, educational resources, and impact monitoring features.
  2. Creating a support framework for participants (mentoring, accessibility, and recognition of involvement) to ensure equal participation of all students, including those from vulnerable groups.
  3. Training teachers and community organizations to implement sustainable service-learning models integrated into the university curriculum.

The intended impact includes:

  • increasing students’ civic, digital, and social skills;
  • strengthening long-term partnerships between universities and communities;
  • developing a European model of participatory, inclusive, and impact-oriented education.
