The “Virtute et Sapientia” Foundation is the foundation of the University of Bucharest. It aims to support and promote the values of education and science by initiating projects and activities that capitalize on the teaching, research and social involvement capacities of the academic community of the University of Bucharest.

Thus, among its activities, the Foundation aims to initiate projects, programs, events of social responsibility for local communities, groups and individuals in need; to organize and carry out congresses, conferences, communication sessions, colloquia, symposia, workshops and summer schools and to contribute to the production of educational and scientific materials.
