The SL 2.0: ColLab project aims to strengthen cooperation between universities and civil society organizations (CSOs) by developing a collaborative digital tool that facilitates inclusive and innovative service learning projects.
The initiative focuses on creating an educational ecosystem in which teachers, students, and local communities co-create meaningful learning experiences based on the real needs of society.
The project has three main objectives:
- Developing a digital platform for collaboration between universities and CSOs, with project management, educational resources, and impact monitoring features.
- Creating a support framework for participants (mentoring, accessibility, and recognition of involvement) to ensure equal participation of all students, including those from vulnerable groups.
- Training teachers and community organizations to implement sustainable service-learning models integrated into the university curriculum.
The intended impact includes:
- increasing students’ civic, digital, and social skills;
- strengthening long-term partnerships between universities and communities;
- developing a European model of participatory, inclusive, and impact-oriented education.
